Hey people.
Have recently given the one 4 me a slightly festive overhaul, nothing tacky or in your face, tried to keep it simple and to the point, it is a dating site after all and the festiveness doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. I guess I had too much time on my hand that day… go check it out, remember, there’s a few weeks till Christmas, plenty of time to find some festive flirty fun online…
Good news, I am back in the Team MPPIX fold… after a few years with MPPIX, then a few years away, I am once again back and with new role and responsibilities. I’ll still be going to rallies taking photos but I’m also now responsible for the brand new website and keeping it update and sparkly clean. Mark now refers to me not only as a lazy shite, but also as the web monkey which is nice.
The site, like this one, is based around a Wordpress site but with a few more static pages as well. Mark has all the galleries hosted separately which makes things a lot easier.
Anyway, the new site is up now which you can find if you click here and my first proper event with MPPIX will be the Grizedale stages on the 5th Decemeber – watch this space for MPPIX news as well as some shots from the event.
Well that time of year has been and gone, sadly. Only another year to wait till the next one though…
As usual I went for the whole event, got wet, cold, muddy but loved every moment of it. This year I hired a few new lenses to try out and it was a mighty steep learning curve, the weather was appalling on day one – rain and fog and with a lens I have never used before this made it even trickier, I persisted though and got there in the end. It also showed me how poor my camera is and I will be buying a new one soon into the new year.
Anyway, enough chit-chat – here are a few photos!
I hate spamming ******* so I make it as hard as I can for them but in doing that, it seems to make it hard for normal people to leave comments so I might make it a bit easier and monitor the spam that comes through!
Comments are now easier, not that it will necessarily make a lot of different, I get a lot of visitors but not so many comments. ah well, it serves its search engine purpose…
As you’ll see from my earlier post, I decided to create a whole new look for my year old dating site. I think it is important to keep websites looking fresh well kept and with this, I redesigned the logo.
I have gone for something a lot more organic and free compared to the older more constrained logo. I wanted something that was more modern and funky and something that would fit in with current design trends. I wanted the identity to feel young and fun, rather than a bit too serious like the old one may have done…
I think it helps the overall brand and with more sites due to launch soon, it sees the growth of the bh design operated online dating experiences.

I decided to take the plunge recently and redesign my online dating site, there must be something in the water where I live as I have now redesigned my own website and identity and now the dating site. I think it was a wise move though and I am much happier with it and think it is more in keeping with current design trends. Just got to hope that the fine single people of England like it!
That’s right, I have moved and finally I’ve got round to updating this blog. I really need to remember about it, I am useless. Well anyway, myself and Sophie have moved in together and we are living in a really nice village in Berkshire, not far from the Oxfordshire border. It’s a really nice little house and I will upload some photos when I take some.
I will also think about updating this regularly again, but not now, too busy at the moment.

So I don’t get massively behind, here a few photos from our recent camping trips to The New Forest and then to the Isle of Purbeck a week later. Both of which were ridiculously hot weekends and it is fair to say we both got burnt. Anyway, here are some random pics from both trips… It seems Pepper took more photos than me on this occasion.
Keeping with tradition, Pepper and I are off on holiday. Again. Some people seem to think we go a lot, maybe we do, I don’t know. It’s fun though, can think of worse ways of spending money. We’re off to sunny Portugal which will be rather good considering it is raining and cold and miserable here.
What’s new in my world? Ummmm, not a lot. Busy with work still but looking forward to the time off, I would take my laptop but I think a certain Miss Pepper would kill me before we got to the airport. 0605 we’re flying, how rubbishly early is that. We’ll get about 4 hours sleep before needing to get up again.
Am still working through more and more Faces of Disco and Liam Collins work and I am getting there slowly. Hopefully there will be a few changes to the Faces site before I go on holiday – if I can find the time. Once back from Portugal, I will start the task of working on Liam’s own Company websites – something I am itching to do, new challenge and all that!
On a sour note, I found out today that £750 = €827. Not good, going on holiday in Europe is just too expensive at the moment.
I probably won’t write on here again before going away but I will do a massive photo upload when we get back.
